Urbane Brokerage is a licensed real estate brokerage firm led by its founding partners, Nelson M. Cabassa and Brooke Baker. Nelson and Brooke collaboratively represent over 20 years of senior leadership experience in the New York City Real Estate market. Their scope of work both in Residential and Commercial Sales and Leasing span over five boroughs.

The company model is one that is rooted in partnership through robust clientele consultations. Strong client relations are cultivated with attentiveness, quality initiatives, ability to flex, and a hands-on approach towards achieving project goals and managing the bottom line.

Our philosophy at Urbane Brokerage is simple. If you are not successful we are not successful. That is why we take special care in considering not just the merits of Salesperson, but how our mutual interests intersect, and how we can be most effective working together. As a new Salesperson you may be considering working in a large firm with a sink-or swim approach with little support for new agents. At Urbane we believe that it is imperative for new agents to be supported through one-on-one mentoring in combination with technical training and real time experience. Our new sales persons work directly with the owners and Senior Salespersons to ensure an experienced perspective guiding you towards your success.

We have found over the years that experienced agents often lack the support they need to grow their business. The ability to diversify their business requires the ability to diversify work load, and the ability to open up multiple streams of business. We design a plan that is most effective for your growth and provide the team you need to support that growth.

We are the exclusive brokers of approximately 500+ units throughout Manhattan. The units we represent are located in some of the most desirable locations in NYC including the Upper West Side, the Upper East Side, Gramercy, Noho, Nolita, Greenwich Village, West Village, Soho, and the Lower East Side. We have formed partnerships with our clients that have led to firm working relationships that are mutually beneficial. As a result, our lead generation is unparalleled, as is our closing ratio. We offer the opportunity to participate in the leasing and sales of our listings, the ability to receive leads without paying for them, as well as guidance towards the most effective investments and methods towards generating your own leads.
